I am looking for any of the descendants of Wesley Deskin Morgan b. 1832 and Nathan Lightfoot Morgan b. 1824 who were both born in Alabama. Nathan came to California as early as 1850, left and returned by 1867. His brother, Wesley came to Siskiyou County before 1880. They both died in Siskiyou Co., CA. Wesley had about 12 children, all of whom also stayed in California their entire lives. I have never spoken to a descendant of Nathan Lightfoot Morgan. Although it is posted that he "never married" on a webpage in the Siskiyou County Cemeteries online, he is in an unmarked grave as I am told by the man who lives on the property where he is buried.
