My name is Cheryl Ellington and I am doing a search of my grandparents history. I havent come up with much, but maybe with the help of you I can find lost relatives that I would very much like to see. My grandfather was born to the Union of Jim and Mary (Richardson) Ellington. His father was born in Wilson NC and later moved to Dublin (Laurens County) GA. He told me that he had ten sisters and brothers. But he only knows the where abouts of three. He had a sister Jenny Ellington (Hughes) now deceased that lived in Tallahassee, Fla., and a brother John L. Ellington Sr. who also lived in Tallahassee, Fla. deceased also. and a brother Willie Joe Ellington, who later changed his last name to Richardson. Last he heard he was a preacher and was living in Panama City, Fla. I am in desperate need to find my family. anyone with any information please contact me. I am also in search of my grandmothers family. She was born to the Union of John D. Rozier Sr. and Pearl Brown Rozier. My grandmother was born Estoria Rozier Ellington. She was born on 11/09/1920, and she died on 10/24/89. Her family derives from Cochran (Bleckley County) GA. She had one sister and one brother all are deceased. Her siblings were named John D. Rozier Jr. and Elnora Rozier Ashley. My grandparents moved to Macon, GA in the early 60's. My gg grandmother's was named John Brown.
