Seeking information on the descendants of John A. SHAW & Dicy [SMITH] who married 18 Sep 1864 in Cherokee Co, Alabama. He was the son of Robert Washington SHAW & Martha "Patsey" [ASHLEY]. John was a younger brother of my GG-Grandma, Mrs Mary Elizabeth [Shaw] SMITH. Per their CSA pension applications, John was born 1838 in Elbert Co Ga and died 05 Oct 1914 in Waxahachie, Ellis Co Tx. Dicy was born 1844 in Abbeville Co, SC and died 05 Mar 1919 in Waxahachie, Ellis Co Tx. Per Dicy's application for a CSA widow's pension filed 1914 Ellis Co Tx, she & John moved to Texas abt 1891. I have found record of 5 chn: Emily (Emma), Mary (Mollie), Richard Tilman, Nancy, and William Henry.
