I am looking for ANY Deaton of Alabama of the 1850 - 1890 period I believe a James Deaton is buried in Fayette Co. He would be the oldest of 13 children. He lived in Marion Co. in 1850 & 1860. He was the son of William and Martha/Patsy. He might have lived in Arkansas after the Civil War. But had body brought back to Fayette for burial. At least 3 brothers, William R., Willie and George were in Mississippi after the war. Gay Deaton Roden
