Searhing for relatives/connections for the Strese/Streese family, primarily Minnesota and Wisconsin, a William Frederick Strese, had a son Edward, came to US at least once probably early 1870's and again in 1881, married a Maria Emma Zipfel in Milwaukee in the 1880's. Connecting family surnames could be Bernard, Mueller, Krauss, Schmidt, and may have had family in Ashland, WI in late 1880's as well. Lived in Milwaukee at least through 1930.
