I am researching the McCallum/Malcom family. The earliest ancestor I have come across is Peter McCallum who married Mary Malcolm/Malcom on December 24, 1832 in Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland. Mary was the daughter of Archibald Malcolm/Malcom and Anne Polson. Mary was born in 1806 and died February 06, 1868 at the age of 62, Central District Burgh of Glasgow, Scotland. Her father Archibald was a weaver. Mary's husband Peter McCallum was a master sailor. Together they had at least one son, Daniel McCallum, who was born in 1841 in Scotland and died between 1910 and 1920 in Washington, DC. Daniel McCallum lived at 95 Candleriggs St. Glasgow, Scotland in 1862. In 1868 he lived at 68 Gregson Rd. Liverpool, England.
