I am looking for John Daykins. He was my great great grandfather. His daughter, who was my great grandmother, was Sadie Zimmerman. Her obituary said she was born in Ohio, and that her father's name was John Daykins. Her mother was unknown. I think he may have been in Ohio around 1860, but am not sure it's the same John Daykins. His daughter Sadie died in 1912 and was 47 years old at that time. Sadie's daughter (my grandmother) married Melburn Combs of Grant County Kentucky. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
