Joseph R. Gentry b. Aug 17,1827 in GA. married Mary Elizabeth Langley b. Apr. 18,1833 in GA. They were married in Campbell Co., GA Jan 7,1849. They moved to Benton Co., AL in 1850. I am looking for Joseph's parentage. Mary is sister to James Wyeth Langley who married Eatha Malinda Shelnut. Joseph and Mary's son, James Wyatt Gentry married Sarah Ann Shelnut who is ggranddaughter to Andrew Shelnut and Elizabeth Gentry. She is also niece to Eatha Malinda Shelnut. Joseph and Mary's children were: Martha, James Wyatt, Mary, Amanda and Phoebe Ann.
