I am looking for information on the parents of my Great-Great Grandfather Stillman Ordway. His obituary says he was born in Swanton, VT in 1810. We believe his parents were Jonathan Ordway and Sarah Green. They were married about 1809 in Swanton, VT. He married Mary Ellsworth. They married in Swanton, VT according to his obituary. They moved to Westville, NY and by 1855 they were living in or near Hancock, WI. They are buried in Hancock Cemetery, Hancock, WI. The reason we believe his parents were Jonathan and Sarah are because supposedly he married the sister of a Chandler Ellsworth. Chandler Ellsworth married Sarah Ordway who was a daughter of Jonathan Ordway and Sarah Green. The thing is, we cannot find any reference to a Stilman Ordway's birth.
