I now know that My Greeat Great Grandmother's father Joseph Moulton lived , married and had his family in Windsor, VT.First mentioned in records in 1771. He is not the s/o William Moulton and Lydia Greenleaf as the family info passed down to me indicated. He came from Cheshire county, New Hampshire to Windsor and then moved to Bromley Twp, which became Mount Tabor. I have found out that he fought in the French and Indian Wars in New Hampshire and Vermont which took place during th 60's.and died in Mt Tabor. in 1815. He married Lucretia Smith of Windsor and they had two living children Mary, my great great grandmother and Lucretia. They may have also had two other children who died in infancy, while living in Windsor, VT. I would love to hear from anyone who knows more about this family. BIG QUESTION??? Did Lucretia marry??? She was still alive when her father died and is in his will which was probated in 1821.in Rutland, VT. Joseph may have remarried to a Sarah. Does anyone know about this connection?? It also mentions a Wife Sarah and a Daughter Abigail in his will. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
