John P. Slevin was my 3rd great grandfather. He was private secretary to Daniel O'Connell. He resided at 65 Townsend Street, Dublin in 1850. John's daughter, M.A. Slevin married William Wallace Peter Slevin also lived at 65 Townsend Street. Peter was a water bailiff. The Dublin Street Directory of 1850 gives a second address for Peter at 1 Luke Street. Phillip Slevin was a corn merchant who address was also 1 Luke Street.
