My friends Rebeca Kowalski, (Kovalski), and her sisters Siba, and Goldi came to the United States more than 30 years ago with their parents. Rebeca and I studied at Colegio Belda (Elementary School) in Ciego de Avila. Moises,her father had a small business on Independencia St. in our hometown of Ciego de Avila, former Province of Camaguey, Cuba. I believe Moises emigrated from Poland after or during the II World War. They used to live on Libertad St. We also studied piano together with Nena Quintana de Borrego( a private academy) in our hometown. Rebecas was one of my best friends. Kowalski is Rebeca's maiden name. I would like any information about this precious family.
