I am looking for information on my gggrandparents: KREBS, Simon Freidrich, born 4 Apr 1819 in Langensalza, Germany the son of Caspar Freidrich KREBS, a silk weaver, born about 1778 in Langensalza and Barbara Christine Von THILO, an opera singer. Fritz KREBS, like his father Caspar, was a silkweaver. He left Germany and started a textile institute in Boras, Sweden. He came back to Berlin and married Gustave Elise MENTHE. MENTHE, Gustave Elise, born 16 Nov 1838 in Berlin, to Carl Theodore MENTHE, also a silkweaver, and Albertine August BLUMNER. After the death of her husband, Albertine married Herr BLAZE.
