Alexander McDonald was my gggrandfather.He married my gggrandmother in Sydney in 1831, her name was Mary Ann Eyeles. The witnesses to the marriage were James Young of Castlereagh Street, William Osburne also of Castlereagh Street,Jane McDonald and Edward McDonald. Alexander inherited property from Thomas Ward of Mortlake NSW and I am led to believe that he was also adopted by him. I have no other reliable information about my gggrandfather and would appreciate any help piecing together the puzzle. |
