I am seeking information on the progenitors or direct descendants of Thomas Davidson, Born 1740 in Glasglow, Lanark, Scotland. Thomas Davidson married Mary Service who was born in 1744 in Alwinton, Northumberland, England (also married there). I am a descendant of William a son of Thomas Davidson (above) who was also born in Glasglow, Lanark Scotland (January 10, 1782) and married Agnes, McFarlin of the same place. Willam was a coal miner. He died July 26, 1955 of July at Cowie's Land, Coatbridge, Lanark, Scotland. I have William's direct lineage but no information on descendants of other members of his family or of his brothers or sisters.
