dear cousins: I am looking for my ancestry in kilkenny/ireland. My 6th grand father-james archer-came into portugal and married there(20/1/1720),after leaving his country as a outlawed jacobite,iniating by this way the portuguese branch of the archer`s,very well known since that old time until now.His father was marcus archer and his mother helena ellenor o´shea(b. 1665).His coat of arms(still in use by us)is "sable three pheons argent" and the motto "pax et copia".Could you help me in giving evidence about those facts and cross relantionship with yourselves?
