Researching family of Michael Francis RAKAUSKAS, b. Dec. 6, 1864, Zindaiciu Village, Jurbarkas Parish, Lithuania; d. Jan., 1960, Burbank CA; married Mary Marijona KLIMAS, b. Feb. 2, 1873, Kuturiai Village, Jurbarkas Parish, Lithuania; d. Oct. 23, 1940 in Waukegan, Lake Co., IL. They were married 1891, Chicago, IL. After their Dry Goods and Shoe Store caught fire, the family moved in 1906 from Chicago to Waukegan, where they put up a similar store. They had seven children: Marijona, Josephine (later Sister Anne Marie), Simon F. (Monk, Order of St. Benedict, OSB, St. Bede Abbey, Peru, IL); Anthony, Celia, Rose, Cyril.
