I am looking for information on Lura Connor Aronhalt. She was born in Claremont, NH in 1857 to Cornelius Dennis and Mary Lodema Barrett (Dole) Connor. They all left for Missouri approx.l 1865. Lura married Samuel Aronhalt in 1890 in Hamilton, Missouri, but then approx. 1900 Samuel left her in the middle of the night and took their two children, Page and Lodema. Lodema, or Deemie as her family called her, is my grandmother and she had absolutely no contact with her mother from that night forward. She found a cousin, Winnie Connor Boutwell from Hamilton, MO that wrote to her in 1943 to let her know her mother had been dead since 1923, but she did not say where, etc. A few years ago the only remaining Connor decesdantin Missouri told another Connor decesdant that Lura may have remarried a Shaw, Straw, Strawn, or Strahan. Lura's parent's obituaries mention her being back in New Hampshire around 1902...So I am searching for ANY information on her...death or marriage. I do have her birth certificate.
