I'm looking for any information on ISAIAH HOBGOOD from Granville County, NC - may be Stem, NC or Oxford, NC, died abt 1923. He married Eva Eastwood. I think she is the daughter of Charles Eastwood & Sara Goss. Eva & Isaiah had two daughters, Julia Costell who married George Nehemiah Harriss Jr. of Wilmington, NC. & Eva Gertrude (born Mary Gertrude) who married James Catlett Sr. I believe Isaiah may have been a Sherriff of Stem, NC & may have died by suicide. Eva & Julia then went to live with a Mrs. Wheeler of Oxford, NC. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
