My great grandparents were married April 7, 1900 somewhere in Chicago, Illinois. The Bride was Elizabeth Black born February 15, 1880 in Pennsylvania. In the 1880 PA,Lawrence Co. New Castle, ED 218 page 14/30. Her parents were Irish/Scottish. Joseph and Jessie Black. The Groom was Charles Wittenberg born July 3, 1876 in Germany. They moved to Chicago in early 1900 and are on the 1900/1910 Cook County Census. 1900 - Chicago 1910 - Village of Burnham (cook county). On May 25, 1914 she died at her home. Anything on the Blacks, from New York or Pennsylvania would be appreciated. Respectfully, Brian B. Cusick | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
