I am looking for information about the Horan family. My great grandfather was John Horan, he is said to have been born at Hillend. I have not been able to find a birth record for him. He was married to Maria Rigg in 1912 in Cowra, but they had been living together for about 12 years. Their children were David born 1901 in Dubbo, Albert (Bertie) 1904 in Dubbo, May 1905 in Dubbo, Maria (Queenie) 1906 in Dubbo,Thomas??, Maria (dec inf) 1911 in Cowra (these children were register as Rigg as parents where not married) Elsie 1913 in Cowra, Maria (dec inf) 1914 in Cowra, Jane 1917 in Cowra and a male (dec inf) 1919 in Cowra. Any information on this family would be helpful. Maria Rigg is said to have been born near Dubbo about 1874 (but not sure of year) I have not been able to find any record for her birth. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
