I am looking for James kendall Cockrell. He was born in 1915 and passed in 1988. He lived in Lampasas for many years. he had a wife named Winiferd.I think this is how she spelled her name. They had lots of land in the area. They had one son at home he was named Jean he was adopted from Winiferd's niece. best i can figure out is he was born somewhere around 1966. I don't remember what street they lived on, but it was a corner lot and had a huge lawn. They also had the house across the alley and the one next door to that. Two of the three houses were victorian style, the third was just a reg two story. One of the Houses had gotten in really bad shape, so they sold it. The people completly remodled it and it was so beautiful. I can not find any info on any of these three people. James had two children by his first wife. I was married to his son Coke. I never meet the daughter. Winiferd was his second and finnal wife. I THINK james died in a nursing home and was buried in lampasas. How many cementries are in lampasas? how many funeral homes?Coke says he has seen the headstone but he will not share with me where it is. I am doing this for our children. Someone please help me.
