I am researching my irish ancestors. Their names were john o'reilly and his wife delia beglan o'reilly they had one child, Annie o'reilly, my great grandmother. The immigrated to the USA in or about 1882. the port of entry is unknown. according to the 1930 federal census, they came from Cavan county, Ireland. My grandmother was about 14 years of age at the time they came to the U.S. She married Martin C. Needham who was born in California. His parents were Michael Needham and Mary Curran Needham from Ireland. They were all of the Catholic faith. I have been trying to find the port of entry at which they entered the USA and from what village or township in Ireland they came from. If anyone has any information or suggestions, they will be greatly appreciated. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
