Johann Heinrich Frederic BECKMANN Master-joiner from Altona Germany, wife Anna Maria, children Franz Heinrich, Maria, Katrina Christina. Left Hamburg Germany ship 'St.Pauli' 1843 to Nelson New Zealand. Son Peter Paul Carl born on ship on way out to New Zealand. Would like to make contact with any family. Some records were found with the spelling of BACKMANN. Johann Heinrich Frederick Beckmann died in Greymouth in 1879, daughter Mary Goff, her husband Richard Benjamin Goff. Kate Harper
