My Great Great Grandfather Johann Georg Hoffmann 1812-1892 came from Reinsbronn, Wuertemberg (near Cregligen) in 1884. He came with his son Johann Georg Jr and soon-to-be wife Friedarika Barbara Veh (Veeh). They first came to Iowa and then settled in Phillips County Kansas. Johann Sr. died in 1892 and Jr. in 1934. Shortly before 1934 they dropped the second n in the name Hoffmann. can anyone connect with this family either in the US or Germany. There are rumors that a sister of Johann Jr. (Anna Marie) came to the United States in the 1850's. Another rumor is that in the early 1700's the family moved from Ebertbronn to Rienbronn. Any connections? | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
