Trying to find spouse (last name Campbell) of Elizabeth "Betty" Taylor, dau of Lindsay Taylor, born in Grainger Co. TN around 1855. According to info she provided on the census she was married at the age of 21, making the marriage date about 1876. She had a daughter out of wedlock in abt 1871, Belle Taylor (taking Betty's maiden name) Father was GW Salley. We can not find Betty in the Census again until 1920 when she is a widow. Family tells she lived in Wolfe County the entire time but would be in the census under her spouse's name, which we don't know. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
