I am looking for more information and/or photos on my ancestors with the surname Anglin or Hensley. My g grandpa was Jimmy Joel Anglin (b.1869-d.1959) from Rockcastle County, KY. Jimmy Joel was married to Ester (Easter) Barrett (divorced),kids from that marriage are Elmer, Albert, Cassie and Flora. 2nd wife Fannie Hensley (b. 1877 d. Aug 1907) kids from that marriage are Stella Marie (died before 2) Blev (died before 2) Pearlee my grandma. 3rd wife Lydia Thomas married Feb. 1907 Rockcastle County. Kids from this marriage Woodrow Wilson (Woody) Nathan, Evenice, William Mckinley, and Laura. Jimmy Joels father was James Joel Anglin (Joel) (b.1836-d.1924)Married to Catherine Melton in Clay County but divorced after the Civil War, then married Martha Hensley twin to Elizabeth Hensley who was married to John Robinson. Joel's father was Stephen "red headed Steve" Anglin (b. 1810-1890) Married Jane Allen Clay County in 1834. I recently found out that Fannie Hensley my g grandma also came out of the same line of Hensley's that Jimmy Joel did and they were second cousins. Samuel Hensley (b.1800) and Margaret Robinson Hensley had Barbara Hensley (abt 1829) and she was the mother of twins, Martha and Elizabeth Hensley (b 1851) Charles Hensley (b. 1835) was also Samuels son, and he married Fanny Maupin in 1855, and they had a son named Samuel (b.1855) who married Matilda Roark (b.1849), and they had Fannie Hensley (b.1877), my g grandma. Looking for anyone with a connection to these lines. Donna | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
