I am looking for any leads to my GGGgrandparents that will help me trace their origins in Germany. Georg Braun (aka Brown) married Frances Rankel (aka Rangle) Oct 2, 1893. Georg Braun (and I believe Frances, too) embarked at Bremen, GE and entered NYC 21 Nov, 1893. Upon Georg Braun's death Oct 11, 1902, Frances married Fritz Baker, Apr 21, 1903. I don't know what German town Georg Braun was from, but Frances Rankel was from Nuremburg, GE. Georg Braun, Frances and Fritx Baker all lived in Washington TWP, Indiana. Descendants of Georg and Frances include Peter Braun, George Felix Braun and Henrietta (Brown). I have attached a picture of Georg and Frances Braun - probably in their early-mid twenties. | |||||||||||||||||||||
