My Grandparents are John Francis Sullivan and Philomena Theresa Cangi. I am looking for information on their parents and grand-parents. Michael Francis Sullivan, born Dec. 1883 in Michigan he died in 1953 in San Diego,CA. His parent's were Jeremiah {Jerry}Sullivan and Mary {Shea} Sullivan. From Kerry Ireland,but not sure. Jeremiah and Mary Sullivan were married in Ireland about 1871. Also that Jeremiah was a laborer and that he worked at Adams Iron Mine. Michael Sullivan worked for Standared oil company, Michael Sullivan started his family with Mildred Helmer in Duluth,MN about 1913 they had 3 children John Francis, Winifred and Charlotte Sullivan all born in Duluth between 1915-1918. I need to learn more about his The Family of Jeremiah and Mary Sullivan. Jeery Sullivan died in 1907 in Minnesota, and was buried in Ironwood Michigan. in his obituary it said his mother and 3 brothers were from Butte Montana. Mary Sullivan died in 1941 in Chisholm Minnesota. Jerry and Mary Sullivan had atleast 7 children Cornelius John born in Ireland in 1874, then Michael,Kate.Nell,Charlotte,Joseph Martin,and Bella, most of the family is buried at Chismhom and Calvary Cemetery in Minnesota. about any Cangi from Italy during 1892 to 1940 in Duluth Minnesota, My grand mother Philomena Cangi was born in Duluth in feb 1915, her father was Michael A. Cangi ,who was born in Italy in Sept 1888 and came over to the states with his mother Philomena and sister Antonia in 1892. Michael Cangi Father was Benjamin Cangi who died in Duluth,MN in 1917. Michael Cangi Married Margurite Schmitz in MN about 1911-14 They had 6 children Philomena born 1915, Benjamin, Roberta, Margaret Cangi {Wakefield} Henry, and Irene Cangi {Dent} Michaels sister Antonia went bye Anna Mae Cangi {Auntie Babe and married Robert Gaspard then Barney Nowicki, she died in LA, California in 1987 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
