Looking for any info/connections to Daniel LEAO family who settled in South Dakota. Daniel was born in St Lawrence Cty, NYS about 1840-42 on Barnhart Island. He married Catherine Ann ALGUIRE. I do not know when they left NYS for SD, but I was told that Daniel died Nov 1907 Hartford, Minnehaha, S.D. The original surnam spelling was LANGELIER. I have found cousins with spellings of LAYO, LAYAW as well as LEAO. Thank you. Fay Calhoun
