Seek parents and siblings of William H. Hamler (1802Sussex Co NJ - 1854Sussex Co NJ). He lived most of his adult life in Green twp, Sussex County, NJ. He was married to Noyetta Kindred (1808Morris Co NJ - 1871Sussex Co NJ) and they had 9 children, the last of whom was my Grandfather, Cornelius Hamler (1850Sussex Co NJ - 1913Sussex Co NJ). My father was Kenneth Hamler (1908NJ - 1972CA), the last child sired by Cornelius. Cornelius' first marriage was to Hannah Morgan who died in the 1890's. The children from this union were sent to stay with relatives in Pennsylvania, a neighboring state. My father never knew the names of his older step-siblings. Cornelius married second wife-- and my father's mother, Augusta Carpenter (1868Sussex Co NJ - 1937Morris Co NJ) -- in 1902. Their children were: 1.) Edna Willetta (Hamler) Webb (1904Morris Co NJ - 1942Morris Co NJ). Married to Thomas Webb. 2.) Mildred Hamler (1905Morris Co NJ - 1920Morris Co NJ) 3.) (John) Kenneth Hamler (1908Morris Co NJ - 1972Los Angeles County CA) If you know this, family I would appreciate hearing from you. My father died when I was young and he grew up with his mother's side of the family so he really never knew his father or his father's side of the family. I am especially interested in learning about William H. Hamler, Cornelius' father. Kathleen LPurch6636@aol.com | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
