Seeking help from Deer Creek area of Cass County to obtain obits and unravel certain mysteries of the Stone family located in the Deer Creek United Brethren Cemetery. My Mother’s maiden name is Stone. According to her recollection her Stone grandparents had only three children: Clyde died in1946 and is buried in San Diego CA, Keturah who died in 1919 and is buried in the Deer Creek United Brethren Cemetery and one other male child (name unknown to her). We were mystified to find a Margaret I Hay buried in the United Brethren Cemetery with a head stone that appears to suggest she was the daughter of Joseph W & Mary B Stone. All the while I have found information that a Margaret Hay is the mother of Mary B Stone (1880 census). Any Help on these matters would be greatly appreciated.
