I have been able to find out the name of the first Calderon in Segovia, Nicaragua. According to family historians, he was married in Ocotal in 1750. However it is unknown where he came from, who his parents were, even who he married. His name was Pedro Calderon, and it is known that he had two sons: Manuel and Ignacio. Ignacio was an "Alferez Real", became the first Mayor of the city of Ocotal, and married Isabel de Bobadilla. I'd like to have information about Pedro's procedence, his ancestors as well as the name of his wife.Ignacio and Isabel prduced Pedro Calderon Bobadilla who married Josefana Larios. These in turn procreated Manuel Calderon Larios who married Guadalupe Ramirez. These in turn procreated Salvador Calderon Ramirez, noted Nicaraguan politician and writer of several books, including "Caciques y Conquistadores", and later became a noted educator in El Salvador where he married Carmen Gomar. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
