Surname(s): |
MCLAMARRAH | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Query Text: |
The 1850 Census for Scott County, IL lists John McLamarrah, aged 50, as a farmer originally from Ireland. I'm looking for the place of origin in Ireland and when John came to America. The spelling of the surname is the same today as in the 1850 census; however, I have never seen the name in compilations of Irish surnames so doubt that the spelling in the 1850 record is the same as it was in Ireland. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
