I am searching for my Paternity. My mother was very young when she got pregnant and was sent to an unwed mother's home in St Louis. Her name was Sylvestra *Sally* Apel and she was in High School in Ellinwood, Barton Co., Kansas. I am hoping to find someone that may know something about her in this time period of Oct. 1943. She told me once the man was married and had a little girl about 3 years old. She couldn't risk messing up another family so she kept his name secret. Any and all leads will be appreciated.
