In the late C19th, possibly 1870s or 80s, Albert William PEARSE (born Hornsey, Middlesex, 1857) married Emily Mary, known as 'Molly', at All Saints' Church, Dunedin, New Zealand, by Dean Fitchett. The surname of the bride is unknown, but she sailed to Queensland with her mother, two sisters and five brothers on the 'Austral', when she and Albert became engaged; her father had been a farmer at Windsor back in England. Albert and 'Molly' later settled at 10 Bligh Street, Sydney and had Evan, Ernest, Maurice William (killed on the Somme, 1918), Meg, Phyllis and Cecile. Albert was a newspaper editor and author of a number of books. Does someone know this family or their descendants, and does someone have access to the church records at Dunedin, who could tell me 'Molly's surname and the date of marriage?
