I am looking for information on the James Bell family of the Hebron/Argyle area in Washington County, NY. The family arrived in 1843 from County Cavan, Ireland. James, his wife ( Eliza ) and at least one child are buried in the Argyle Cemetery. James was born in County Cavan, Ireland in 1807 and died in 1885. His parents were John and Eliza (McElwain) Bell. James married Eliza ?. She was born in Ireland in 1817 and died in 1879. They had six children that I know of: Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Jane, James J. who married Anna Spear, Walter A., and Margurette who married a Congdon.
