I am looking for the siblings and parents of Daniel Webster Garrett and Comfort Plummer, m. 4-6-1845 in Ross Co Ohio. Daniel was b. 1815-1822 in Pennsylvania and d. 7-7-1877 in IL. Comfort was born Ross or Fairfield Co Ohio, and d. 5-18-1904 in Decatur IL. They were my g-g-g-g-grandparents. They had at least 11 children: Daniel, Rachel, Martha "Estelle", David, Frank, Allison "A Q", William, Joseph, Peter, Elizabeth, and Sarah. They moved to IL between 1861-1877, and lived around the Decatur area. They changed their name from Garrett to Gharrett at some point in the late 1800's. Most of the children took on the Gharrett spelling, although a couple stuck with Garrett.
