Looking for information on my g-grandfather John Costello born abt 1860 in Galway Co. Father's name John Costello, mother's Bridget Dowd. John in Barnsley, Yorkshire, UK about 1880,married Mary Ann O'Donoghue 1 Dec 1883 in Barnsley, Yorkshire, Eng. Immigrated to NJ Aug 1892, Mary in 1893 with children. Lived in Ocean Co, NJ 1892?- 1900+(In 1900 NJ census). In Brooklyn 1920.Died in Brooklyn, NY, USA, 7 Jul 1932, buried Holy Cross Cemetery. Brothers Darby born c 1867, with John in 1891 Barnsley Census, and Thomas witness at dau. Sarah's baptisim 1888 Barnsley. John and Mary Ann had 5 children born in Barnsley(Mary, Sarah, John,William) and 4 born in (NJ/NY) US (Frances, James, Edward, Joseph). John may have been with brother Thomas in New Jersey.
