I am looking for cousins named Downey in New York. Our great grandparents were Samuel Joseph and Catherine (Ryan) Blake from Ireland. Samuel's parents were John and Mary (Hughes)Blake. Catherine's parents were Mathew and Margaret (Marnell)Ryan. All from Ireland. John born 1894 and Margaret born 1901 were the only children to survive in the Samuel Blake family. Margaret was the youngest child of Samuel and Catherine, born in Brooklyn, New York in 1901 and married Patrick Joseph Downey in New York in 1926.
