I am looking for any family members related to Gertrude Johnson, who was born August 28, 1905 in Louisiana and died January 24, 1943 at 9:00 a.m., in the New Orleans Charity Hospital. She married April 26, 1926 to Ozeme LeBlanc, the son of Theogene LeBlanc and Leah Guedry who was born April 6, 1903 in Sorrento, Louisiana and died 1980 in Gonzales, Louisiana. Gertrude's death certificate listed parents as John Johnson and Dorestin Herbert. Sorrento book listed Gertrude's mother as Mary Herbert. Dorestin could be Mary's saint name. At the time of Gertrude's death, she lived in Prairiville, Louisiana and had a Sorrento Post Office box address. Norman LeBlanc, her son, was the informant. After the death of Gertrude, Ozeme married (2) to Bernadette Rodriguez on October 9, 1944. She was known as Det, the daughter of John Louis Rodriguez and Mary Olympe Bourgeois. Thank you.
