Subject: Joseph H. Smith, b. 1879, d. 1924 Researching: Joseph H. Smith married a Mary Druch at very young age...they had 12 children, their names are Warren, Florence, Preston J., Ralph, Viola, Edward Peter, Walter John (my grandfather), Dorothy, Anna, Charles, Verna, Catherine. After Joseph's death in 1924. Mary Smith married a William Hoffert, he died in 1964. Seeking information on whether Mary and William had any more children and information on the remaining Smith children. I do know according to family sources that Catherine was adopted in 1924 shortly after Joseph's death. I have managed to locate most of the family through the census information and this is what I have been able to find so far: Florence Smith married a John Woodring, they later divorced by the 1920 Census. Preston J. SMITH was born 10 May 1901 and was married 1929. He died 27 Feb 1960 in At Home, Bethlehem, PA and was buried 02 Mar 1960. Preston married Winifred L. BECK, daughter of Charles BECK and Katherine DELONG, on 1929. Winifred was born 29 May 1907 in Bingen, PA and was married 1929 . She died 08 Apr 1985 in Westminster Village, Allentown, PA and was buried 13 Apr 1985 in Memorial Park, Bethlehem, PA. They had the following children: Donald C. SMITH was born Sep 1929. Nancy SMITH.
