Query Text: |
Looking for any information material or photographic of the Hiawatha outdoor Play held in Wayagamug, MI just northeast of Petosky MI i nthe early 1900's. I am specifically looking for the true identity of Pau Puk Keewis/Hiawatha Indian actor of such Play. He ususally wore a star sash. But the regalia changed over time. He looks english or a half blood Indian. He may have been from the Emmet County MI area, Cheyboygan COunty area or even from elsewhere but he was consistantly therei n Wayagamug every summer from 1903 to 1906 or so. Please help me find the life history of this man. Thanks Mark | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
