SINGLETARY | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
Query Text: |
I am looking for more information on my great great grandfather and his ancestors. His name was David Alexander Singletary (1824-1898). He may have been born in either North or South Carolina. I have no information on his parents whatsoever, but I believe the Singletary's may have moved to Louisiana around 1814, during the Battle of New Orleans (this is according to my grandmother). I know that the Singletary's are originally from Ireland, but how many generations ago we were in Ireland, I am not quite sure of. If you have any information on David Alexander (who had a son named Richard incidentally), please let me know. Thanks! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
