McHaffie, James, born Fuffock, Wig. Scotland 27 Jan 1775 died Wigton, 22 Nov 1865, home Torhousemuir, according to Army list , served 23 North British Reg't of foot, retired Lt General. married Hannah Douart Rankine 29 jul 1805. Seeking inforation on his carrer and life, I am his 4th g-gson.
