I am looking for information about my Great Great Grandfather Edward Doherty born c. 1834 in Ireland . I don't know where in Ireland but do know that his father was James Doherty a Cordwainer (shoe maker). Edward came to Liverpool, England, some time before 1860 when he married Alice Sharples.
