I am looking for any information on (individuals or families) Joseph Shirk (b. 8-12-1824 in Lancaster County, PA, d. 5-23-1904 Harvey County, KS, m. 1-23-1863) and Eliabeth Shirk (Shirk is her maiden name too) (b. 1-24-1837 Lancaster County, PA). The couple moved to Elkhart, IN and then to Harvey County, KS. Their children were: (1) Mariah/Maria b. 10-30-1836, d. 1933 (2) Lydia b. 2-25-1865, d. 1950, (3) Christian "Chris" b. 9-12-1867, d. 2-19-1941 m. Sarah A. Berkey, (4) John Westley b. 7-29-1869, (5) David b. 12-23-1870, (6) Emma (my great, great grandmother) b. 9-12-1872 Indiana, d. 2-9-1967 Cedar Valley, OK, m. Edward Lincoln Lawver on 10-20-1891, (7) Martha E. m. Behler, (8) Joseph, (9) Noah W. b. 1880, (10) Annie. I have old photos of many of these people. I do not have information, however, on the parents of Joseph and Elizabeth. Would be very grateful for any information. Bridget Jones
