Looking for information about great-great grandparents Augustin Vermette (ca. 1844 - ca. 1882) and Philomene Mailhot (ca. 1842 - ca. 1882.) They were married in Moore's Fork, NY in 1866; possibly lived on or near an Indian Reservation (perhaps near Dannemora.) Their son, Charles Augustus Varmette, lived in Ticonderoga for awhile - and his descendants used the spelling Varmette. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
