I am stuck on my GG-Grandfather John Anthony SHULL born PA abt 1846, married Anna Augusta SIDDLES in PA. I found one tree that states the marriage was abt 1875, but that can't be right,(it must be abt 1868/69) because they appear on 1970 Chatsworth, Livingston, IL Census, John age 25, born PA; wife Anna age 19 born PA; children: Q.J., female age 1, born IL; and William H., male age 8/12, born IL. Both John and Anna report parents born in PA. John appears on 1880 census of Boone, Crawford, MO as John age 33, born PA; Anna age 30, born PA; Quinderra Jane? age 12, born IL; William H. age 10, born IL; John age 8, born MO; Davis age 7, born MO; George age 5, born MO; Harry S. age 3, born MO; Mary C. age 2, born MO; Robert age 1/12, born in May 1880, MO. Need info on John Anthony SHULL and Anna Augusta SIDDLES parents; John and Anna's exact date and place of marriage; and any other info you can help me with. What you see is all I have. I also know that John Anthony SHULL served in Civil War, most likely with a PA unit, it could have been an Illinois unit, but most likely PA since I have the marriage reported in PA. What unit, regiment and company? The National Park Service's roster of Civil War Soldiers (in process) hasn't put the PA records in yet. Thanks a bunch for any help. Quinderra J.
