I am searching for the parents of Thomas Roan or Roane. He was born January 10, 1761 in King and County, VA. He served in the Revolutionary War from NC. He married (1)Nancy Phelps November 14, 1782 in Caswell Co., NC. (2)Jane Cox(?) about 1836 in NC. He died November 23, 1782 in Caswell Co., NC. The children of Thomas Roan and Nancy Phelps were 1. Fannie Roan b. 1784 m. Jacob Thomas 2. James Roan b. 1786 m. Henrietta Burch 3. Annis Roan b. 1795 m. Alexander Griffin 4. Annie Roan b. 1789 m. Martin Wood 5. Asenath Roan b. 1797 m. John Stewart 6.
